Clarity above all.
Every patient deserves to understand the root cause of their pain and the roadmap to lasting relief. That means taking the time to explain the why, so you are never in the dark. It is the first of the five values this clinic publishes, and the reason its aim is to be Edmonton's most trusted partner in lifelong mobility and wellness.
Your first visit
How care starts here.
It is not an endless line of appointments. It is progress in real time, and here is what happens between getting in touch and getting treated.
-
Book your appointment
Call the front desk or use the online booking system, and choose a time that fits your week. No referral is needed.
-
Have a thorough assessment
Start with your story, then a focused orthopaedic, chiropractic, neurological and movement exam, plus a review of any imaging you already have. You will know what is driving your pain and whether this is the right place to help.
-
A plan that fits your life
A conservative, integrated plan using the tools you actually need, built in both a floor version and an ideal version so it fits around work, kids and energy.
Getting started
Clear steps, not mysteries.

All explained in plain language. Chronic pain is sneaky and it builds in layers, so a plan is built from the tools you actually need: chiropractic, acupuncture and IMS, shockwave, massage, rehab and orthotics.
Hands-on care

Chiropractic care
A hands-on approach to restore proper movement to stuck joints in your spine and body, calm overworked muscles, and retrain the movement patterns that cause pain.
Massage therapy
Hands-on bodywork to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, the fascia, where chronic tension from repetitive movement gets locked in.
Physical rehabilitation
A structured, step by step plan to address why your body hurts, how to restore reliable movement, and which therapeutic exercises rebuild strength and control.
Myofascial release
A manual therapy technique using hands-on treatment to address tight fascial patterns, improve movement, reduce tension and relieve pain.
Rehabilitation exercises
Progressive movements to strengthen weak support muscles, restore lost flexibility, and improve functional range of motion.

Paediatric care
Gentle hands-on treatment for babies and children, looking at how their spine, joints, muscles and nervous system work together.
Targeted therapies and supports
Shockwave therapy
A non-invasive treatment that focuses sound wave pulses on chronic, stubborn pain in tendons, fascia and muscles that have not responded to rest, stretching or medication.
Acupuncture
A traditional therapy using very thin needles at specific points on the body to calm overactive pain signals, reduce inflammation and improve blood flow to injured tissues.
Intra muscular stimulation
An evidence-based treatment that places very thin, solid needles directly into tight muscles to release chronic tension, improve mobility and restore normal muscle function.
Electro acupuncture
A targeted treatment combining traditional acupuncture needles with gentle electrical stimulation to address pain, reduce inflammation and promote faster healing.
Custom orthotics
Foot supports designed for your own foot structure and gait pattern, built to address the specific alignment issues behind the pain.
Pre and post joint replacement
Care to optimize your recovery going into and coming out of a hip, knee or shoulder replacement surgery.
Your team
Clarity. Honesty. Personalized care.
It is more than standard chiropractic care. It is building a plan that actually fits your life, without waiting months to see multiple providers. Two chiropractors and two massage therapists work under one roof, and every visit is tailored to your own story, experience and concerns.

Crystal MacIntyre
Registered Massage TherapistA graduate of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at The Massage Therapy College of Manitoba, registered in Alberta since 2012, with 18 years of experience. Every treatment begins with listening, then combines deep tissue and relaxation massage, dynamic cupping, passive stretching and movement-based techniques. Her approach starts from the understanding that pain is not always caused by tissue damage alone, and that reassuring the nervous system that the body is safe lets it relax and move more freely.

Emma Hurd
Registered Massage TherapistA graduate of MacEwan University's 2200-hour Massage Therapy program, tailoring each treatment to the client's own needs and wellness goals in a supportive, relaxing room. Her approach combines myofascial release, deep tissue and relaxation techniques to reduce tension, improve mobility and support overall well-being, with home care recommendations that keep the relief going between sessions.

Dr. Joseph Tanti has been great in helping me with my neck, shoulder, hip and leg pain. I was having soreness walking and since seeing him my pain has been drastically reduced, and improving after every visit. He is a great doctor, very personable. He listens, and understands your issues.
Fantastic clinic. I've been to at least a handful over nearly twenty years, and I can say that the folks working at Riverbend Chiro know what they're doing. Been dealing with a rib/back issue for weeks and the only reason I'm able to stand and breath, is because of them!
They examine thoroughly before discussing options. Very patient centered and multimodal. Had median nerve compression from muscular TOS, pronator teres syndrome, and swelling at my carpal tunnel. A few clinic visits and following their home recommendations have dramatically improved my symptoms.
